Astrology Readings is one of the essential components of a constellation, a grouping of stars in the sky. Since ancient times, humans have associated groups of stars with their mythical figures or instruments, calling them "constellations". Constellations have been the means of determining the position of the sky in almost all civilizations, and are widely used in navigation. The delineation of constellations is entirely man-made, and their division and naming varied from one civilization to another. The constellations were not standardized with precise boundaries until 1930, when the International Astronomical Union (IAU), in an effort to standardize the complicated division of the constellations, divided the sky into eighty-eight official constellations with precise boundaries, so that every star in the sky belonged to a particular constellation. Most of these formal constellations are based on ancient Greek mythology handed down from the Middle Ages. In a three-dimensional universe, these stars are not necessarily physically related to each other, although their positions on the one spherical surface, the celestial sphere, are similar, whereas they may actually be very far apart. If we were in another solar system in the Milky Way, we would see a completely different starry sky. Since ancient times, people have been interested in the arrangement and shape of the stars and have naturally associated stars in close proximity to each other to form constellations.
